This reminds me of the time we had a cattle herd and one bull.
A neighbor had the same.
The two bulls were literally tearing up the fence between trying to get at each other.
Opened up gate, and let them butt heads for a while.
Then, ran them back to their own herds and they went on about their own business – and the fence survived.
