I remember hearing the ocean when I put a crystal wineglass to my ear.

What you actually hear is what’s going on inside your own head, like blood circulating.
So why do so many people hear marbles rolling around when they listen to that shell?

Oh YEAH?
Well I can hear the ocean, the seabirds and the whales singing when I put a Cuervo tequila bottle in my mouth!

And if a teenage girl holds a cell phone to her ear, she can hear a babbling Brooke.

Since I took the survey being promoted by Go Comics and “won” a “free” three months as a Genius, I have discovered that Go Comics has an archive for Mutt and Jeff which goes back to 2003. Many of the recent strips are reruns of strips which ran in 2003. It seems to me that it would be a small matter for Go Comics to go back into their OWN archives for Mutt and Jeff and post one of the Sunday strips from back in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, or 2007 during those occasions when Universal does NOT send Go Comics a new Mutt and Jeff strip to post on Sunday!

Nowadays from the shell would flow all sorts of cruise ship garbage, plastic bottles, dolphins caught in nets and medical waste.
