Tell the listeners what piece you are moving and to where, dummy!
Edgar Bergan did THAT on radio? Wow, people must have REALLY been hard up for stuff to listen to!

You oughta try your act on TV, Jeff–after it’s invented!

I’ve seen Bergen in movies and on “The Muppet Show,” and you can see his lips move every time. He was a much better ventriloquist on the radio.

As for Jeff’s idea, I think I’ll wait for the movie to come out; that way I can see the whole game. 8)

Listening to nothing would be better than some things I’ve heard on the radio!!!

I like to listen radio plays, also known as theater of the mind.
They don’t run radio plays any more, what a pity.
War of the Worlds, The Shadow, Lights Out, The Inner Sanctum, and many, many more.
Radio use to be allot more interesting then it is now.

“Night of the Killer Chicken Heart”

Go get ‘em Chicken Heart….Eat ‘em up!

Something from the mind of early Bill Cosby.

Bergen and McCarthy were never better than when they went mano-a-mano with WC Fields
