Actually, one of the younger men sitting down should offer his seat to the old man with the beard. Mutt did need to hang onto something while standing up on the moving commuter train.

We don’t have a train here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. But, the bus drivers won’t have anyone standing up in the aisles.

When I lived in North Hollywood and took the RTD from Hollywood up to home in the San Fernando Valley and it was in the afternoon, there was often almost no standing room on the bus.

When I lived in Montreal, the buses packed ‘em in like sardines during rush hour. In fact I’d have to say the newer buses were designed for standing. There weren’t that many seats, but the aisle space was much wider than the older buses.

Mutt is the tall one. Jeff is the short, bald one.
