I’ve long suspected they starve dogs and cats for a few days ahead of making a food commercial. That way they’re sure to divebomb on top of the food no matter how lousy it tastes.

Yeah, of course, just make it up. Couldn’t be that they selectively pick animals that will eat anything, that just doesn’t fit into the world of “every animal is abused”.
