Something akin to “Uglee Dork”, I’d say.

Here’s something to ponder. What if those cave paintings wern’t done by primative humans but by the survivours of a civilazation collapse a’la Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome? Just a thought.

Gosh those must be your guys’ Ancestors; not mine.
We’d never waste good paint needlessly.

they are about 30 to 40 thousand years old … evidence of our civilization will be around for several 100 thousand years at least … if there was an apocalyptic event we would probably find evidence of it … probably under water because of the sea level rise around 8 to 10 thousand years ago … some of my numbers may be off by a bit … its been along time sense I made those cave paintings

Rather precocious Neaderthalers (since most such parietal art is attributed to Cro-Magnon types). But Monty has been sealed; he is now taboo. Time to get back to the Present, Professor!

Recent findings indicate that the neanderthals did leave us some cave paintings. But they didn’t look like the fellows portrayed in this cartoon. These guys look more primitive.

Humans have been around near 200,000 to maybe 500,000 years. Plenty of time for an earlier industrial revolution that could answer questions about dazzling architecture and flying craft etc. Not much would survive 100,000 years of decay.

Ohn that thought, just WHAT would our civilisation leave behing for an archaeologist in 5000 years? About the only thing we have that will survive intact are mounds of garbage and the brass bull at the park downtown. We would be called worshippers of the cow. In reality it speaks of our cowboy origins and heritage of the town.
