   Gee, I crush ants when I see them in the house. I could probably write a horrible sci-fi sory about an invasion of giant ants seeking revenge. >shudder!< But I won’t because I like to sleep at night.

   There’s a classic SF story called “The Big Ant” about how a friendly alien species keeps trying to contact us, but we keep instinctively offing their ambassadors on sight.
