So what’s wrong with e mail?
Clotty Peristalt said, 5 months ago
@barticle35
Santa@northpole.org? kriskringle@santaindustries.com? santaclaus@gmail? I bet some of those are real, but I can’t be arsed to try at the moment.

I went onto a Santa Claus site this year and have been getting so much garbage in my Inbox and I can’t seem to block it out. Yes, I found how to block messages but they are still coming through because the next one has one letter changed.

yeah, that one from satanclaws.com was really over the top.

Meddick’s still in last decade. This decade might mail an SD card.
USB flash drives won’t even fit in an envelope.

@SwimsWithSharks
My USB flash drive fits in a shirt pocket with room to spare, so an envelope is no problem. Mind you it’s a small one, only 300 Gb, but big enough for my Xmas list.

My lover has said that he could fit his whole business on a USB flash drive, but it would have to be a very large one. When I met him in 1976 he had been in his own business for at least 10 years and now he saves not only customer contact info but also digital photo records of their equipment that he works on with nameplates and all.
.
Not surprising that Sedgewick would know of such things.

Kids sure have changed since Charles Schulz or Norman Rockwell’s day …. there’s something dehumanizing about all this addiction to technology

I say! Young Master! If USB, why snail-mail? A tad schizophrenic, Sedgie? Too attached to Tradition, are we?

Sedgie’s got a Stuxnet type worm on the USB. He intends to either sabotage or commandeer Santa’s operations.

I bet he’d get a good laugh out of that.

What happens to all these techno-addicts when their batteries die?
