I am pleased to see we have finally abandoned the misnomer “tidal wave” even in venues like the funny papers.

Sure hope those boats weren’t nuclear powered.

Nice recalling of “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” woodblock print by the Japanese artist Hokusai.
Incidentally, that wasn’t a depiction of a tsunami, just a really big open sea wave, which is increasingly noted as being a semi-regular event. Waves of ten metres or more in relatively calm seas are believed to be the reason that some large vessels have disappeared without a trace.

You just ship-wrecked three fine RC models for your frickin’ Snickers! Besides, who’d want to eat a candy bar that had been beaked by a wild duck?!

So “harbor wave” (which is what tsunami means) is an improvement?

That’s ok. I thought about correcting, but Monty’s recent attempt to bond with the band on the Titanic made me think twice. And hey? Its a small, fake lake, so maybe a small gale?
