So? It is called a plain black coffee. Just like Grandpa used to drink. (with a splash of shine in it)

I used to call that “election-strength” coffee. I was the judge of elections at my local polling place, which was open from 7 AM to 8 PM.
I would have to be there 1/2 hour early to get the polls ready to open, then an hour after closing to count the vote and get everything recorded, then another hour round-trip to the county courthouse to turn in the materials and results, and then to the candidates’ after-parties.
I would get up at 6 AM and not get to bed before midnight at the earliest!

Piece of cake . . . Four AM to between 1 to 2 AM, sometimes 3 to 4 days at a time. Twenty to 22 weekends a year. Such is the life of a inspector/official for a major touring stock-car series.

Around here we just call it ‘nuclear coffee’. Strong enough to run a reactor.
