I think that the husband is complaining to the wife, ‘not ({this}) again.’ And it just so happens that it IS authentic, organic and local again, as it always will be. Her face is like shut up and eat, gonna be this tomorrow, again, too.

Where are you gonna get anything else? Now, in today’s market (Grocery that is) it is the preferred and more expensive.

Don’t explain – just leave us moderately confused. I understood and enjoyed this one. When I was asked ’what’s for dinner’, I would always say Food.

I understood it also, and thought it was funny. People now go out of their way and pay more to get authentic, organic and local food, and that’s the way it has been for thousands of years until recently (maybe the last 60 years).

If he doesn’t stop complaining, he’ll be sleeping alfresco tonight.

Unfortunately, sometimes the cartoon needs an explanation. So he’s whining about being a locavore, I take it.
