I grew up on Dylan and liked his music. But what would happen to him now if he was trying to get his start by singing on “American Idol” “Mr. Dylan. You got a lot of nerve…to say you are a singer.”
Saw Bob Dylan several years ago. Tracy Chapman opened.. microphone, acoustic guitar and a stool. She was awesome. Dylan came out after with 5-7 guitarists. Did not recognize a single note til the 2nd last song. Completely overpowered by the equipment. Would have demanded my money back, but Tracy was worth the price of admission.
