Ms. MacMillan’s work explores the relationship between the universality of myth and romance tourism.

With influences as diverse as Wittgenstein and Francis Bacon, new variations are created from both orderly and random textures.

Ever since she was a pre-adolescent she has been fascinated by the essential unreality of the universe. What starts out as vision soon becomes debased into a manifesto of defeat, leaving only a sense of chaos and the dawn of an insane new order.

As wavering phenomena become frozen through boundaried and academic practice, the viewer is left with a testament to the limits of our era.

Oh we of little knowledge of history. As countries mature they go from agricultural to simple industries, to heavy industry, to highly technical industries and finally to service industries. If you don’t like it you can stay in Agricultural, but don’t expect the developed world to support you butt. If you don’t believe it look at China and India now. They are moving up the ladder.
