   Some surplus value is simply thrown away, eliminated through waste, wars, and so-called international “aid.” The latter two also function as centers for creating even more profit, which they pursue, but which also exacerbates the overall problem.

   Actually Stephanie, you drew the character wrong. It’s your socialsit hero Obama who is enjoying dealing death and destruction and killing innocent children with his constant use of killer drones.
   I suppose the 48 million in the US on food stamps to say nothing of welfare and SSI are all “truly needy” and can’t be considered as a waste of resources.

   No, No sammysock. The people on food stamps are a vital part of our economy. Haven’t you been watching? In the check out line at the supermarket the only ones with a heaping cart are those paying with food stamps. Maybe we should bomb the supermarkets, get rid of all that fatty food and the welfare chiselers then go back to subsitence farming. Its amazing how much you can grow in a few planters on an apartment balcony.

   Too often powers will use foreign aid to cover for their weapons sales, an infiltrate or create bogus covers of the Red Cross, Dr. Without Borders etc. and use it to move arms and gather intelligence.

    Night Gaunt49, I know a number of these people and I have seen them pushing the overloaded carts around. But then this is the welfare state of California so maybe it is different in other states.

    Did you actually interview anyone? Pushing overloaded carts mean little on its own. Like the myth of the Welfare Queen. People are very good at hypnotizing themselves. Lies that fit preconceptions work beautifully. But this isn’t a fact, and a poor unsubstantiated observation.

    Just compare what previous presidents have done. You will find that in many cases Obama did far less than they did in the help people category and far more in killing them.
