Invested money→labor→receiving pay and benefits→production of goods people want and need→sales→profit→pay investment back out of profit→more labor→more pay and benefits→more production of goods….
the cycle benefits people. I think she has finally got it.

I like Stephanie and the strip, because it’s like a nostalgic trip back to my 60s college days, when all of us were young and naive. It was really hip to be a Marxist, Che was cool, etc, etc. It’s just amusing to watch another young generation “discover” this completly discredited, bankrupt, anti-liberty crap all over again…

Any one remember the skits from In Living Color with the two hustlers pitching their get rich quick schemes….. mo money, mo money, mo money?

You’ve hit it spot on! Hip to be a Marxist, till you see how HE got the point from his former proteges.
Do you think Che would have worn t shirts with a picture of Thomas Jefferson on them. Old TJ was a pure revolutionary.

Ray is good but he misses some things like human greed and environmental destruction that could derail our growth to a better society. The Plutocrats haven’t shown an interest in allowing us to get that way.

The flow of commodities from earth to assembly line to land fill is the basis of, and is represented by, the circulation and accumulation of a very abstract form of wealth, which is money.
Capitalism is, on the one hand, a social relation, whereby one economic class—a small minority, the ruling class—dominates all others. On the other hand it’s a process—the endless flow of money to commodity production for the generation of more money.

Yeah, I remember when I was a college kid in the late 60s. That magical age when we knew EVERYTHING!
I assumed Ms. McMillan to be a VERY young college student. Then I read her bio. She graduated college in 1987, making her in her mid 40s. Some of us matured after we got out of school, some of us didn’t.
