This is the cover of the book that Victoria Guinea Pig just pulled from her shelf. A new phase of Minimum Security is starting, which represents what’s in the book. The comics will be supplemented by texts, which can be found each day on my website. Today’s is the introduction and premises. Here’s the beginning:
“The purpose of this project is to contribute to a collective process of analyzing our objective conditions and clarifying concepts in service to the struggle to defeat capitalism. It rests on several premises, listed below. Collage-like in form, it is presented as a series of comics, illustrations and texts. The content begins with very general definitions and will progress to increasing levels of detail…”(continued on stephaniemcmillan.org)

I hope this is a joke, because this was one of my favorite comics—but if she is going to start screwing with the format—I might have to delete it from my comic page

@John Bleecker
John, it is no joke. Why not give it a try? Delete it after a few days if you don’t like it. Maybe you’ll be surprised.

Personally I see the premis as flawed. “Defeat Captitalism” seems daft. Capitalism is the use of capital aka money to do business. Right now we need to defeat the mercantile set and their corporate an govt cronies who have hijacked Capitalism to funnel most of the wealth to them and them alone. That is the problem, not the exchange of specie for work.

Also what are you going to replace Capitalism with? All I see is a misclassification of it and its need for elimination. Not a replacement. Without that there is no way a revolution will succeed and be sustained if only a black hole is the end product.
Runaway Capitalism is like runaway cell division or fire or electricity. When under control it is beneficial to everyone. But when it is allowed to run out of control by just a few we get disaster. We are all Capitalists. Only a few abuse it and should be brought to heel.
In biology you get cancer and death
In thermodynamics fire out of control gets mass destruction and death.
With electricity out of control you get electrocutions, fires and death.
—
Do we then stop living?
Do we then stop using fires?
Do we then stop using electricity?
So why must we stop using what is beneficial because criminals have abused it?

Re: Proletarian Theory is a Revolutionary Social Force
Please go to Stephanie’s “Blog and Info” if you have not already done so, to get a better understanding of what Stephanie’s purpose is in her upcoming project.
No need to judge so quickly, give Stephanie an opportunity to present her project and perhaps also be a little more supportive in what I see to be quite a challenge.
I am looking forward to this project and thank you Stephanie for pursuing your goal.

Some highly intelligent comments from Night-Gaunt49 and Pete Rogan, which have eloquently gone unanswered. The approach of these revolutionaries is remnicient of one mother I know who had a habit of throwing out everything that her children and husband were abusing: the TV, the computer, the smartphone, even cookware when she felt they were overeating. Certainly easier than teaching them to use these tools properly, but more destructive than helpful.

Good thing he didn’t accidentally pull out a bible or this would have turned into a religious nut comic instead of a fanatic marxist comic.

Marx was right. Everything that is happening now fits in to his theories.
Capitalism cannot be “fixed” Capitalism itself is the problem. I’m looking forward to see where this comic goes.
