Lets define America The US.. is a small portion of America. The rest of us do not go around thumping our chests and declaring war on a whim. You certainly do have some exceptional examples though.. Michele Bachmann certainly represents your finest.

    Two words: ‘Nov 2008’.

The financial crisis was mostly caused by Clinton’s pushing Congress to repeal the Glass-Steagall act.

A huge loss of respect occurred when Bush, jr made Colin Power lie and say Saddam had a nuclear arsenal so close to completion the US could not wait for armour, but had to rush in without armour into Iraq where many were needlessly killed when a short delay would have kept them alive. After which, no nukes or fissile material was found.

If Magnaut had said, ‘Jan 1993’, it would have been truer and non-racist.

Actually, Obama did bungle quite a few things once he took office, with his assorted bungles drawing attention away from the economy and delaying the implementation of certain needed fixes.
    []
In that sense, he succeeded in making an already bad situation even worse.

Putin has turned himself into a bit of a caricature, kinda’ like “W” in a flight suit with a sock.

The U.S. has been fortunate and successful for many years, partly because of our work ethic and our isolation away from European wars. Unfortunately, times always change…

I feel our political choices to support the rich, especially at the expense of the environment, and our allowing education to slide, especially the huge amounts of debt so many people must accrue in order to get a good college education, have eroded our future.

I agree with your assessment of the financial crisis, and although I appreciate your sarcastic/irreverent posts, as invading Iran took several more years, something the anti-war left fails to recognize. They also ignore Clinton’s “Iraq Liberation Act” signed in 2008.

What a typical response. No criticism allowed, right? No dialog, right? Just do as i say or leave, right? You know how that guy selling soup in Seinfeld was called, yes? Had the same attitude…

Mr. Putin lives a full and interesting life. Why not? Russians are tougher and more nature-oriented than the average westerner. And if you see him half naked again please remember that he is 61. No matter how old YOU are: strip down to the waist, get in front of a mirror, take a long hard look and then STFU

What keeps up from being exceptional is out blind allegiance and worshipping of politicians, who are no better or smarter than most of us. Look at these people for what they are. How did we elect a President who has ties to two terrorist organizations?

Ties to two terrorist organizations? Do you mean the CIA and the DOD?
