@Mr. King
I think it’s about global warming.

I would love to be able to say “what’s snow”? I hate winter, I hate cold, I hate snow.

here is a clue, snow happens. man made climate change is a myth. it might be 2 degrees colder over one decade but not the next, so what. Weather happens and change is part of the equation.

Am I wrong or was there not a time when most of the earth was:
under water
tropical
covered with ice?
AND, how long have “humans” been on the earth?
AND, how old is the earth?
AND, how extensive our our climate records from the past?
AND do they or do they not show climate cycles?
Hey, we need to clean up our act. Crapping in your front room is not allowable. Fossil fuels (while they may or may not bring on the next tropical/ice age) are dirty, finite and not able to produce the energy needed to make the next leap forward.
Why do we constantly bicker instead of moving forward and solving the problem? Go ahead, develop alternative forms of energy that supply the needs of the world. Just don’t kill the rest of us with high taxes and energy poverty while you do it.

@Harleyquinn
The last major dip in global temperature was in the 1930s…during the Great Depression. It also spiked wildly during WWI and WWII, and has been on the rise since the 50s.

Harleyquinn said, “…man made climate change is a myth….”
Harley, not only do you not understand science but you apparently don’t know the meaning of the word “myth” either.
It doesn’t mean what you think it means.

AGW is about controlling People…………The World’s Climate cannot be Controlled……..It will continue to do what it has been doing as long as the Earth has had an atmosphere…..News flash: at one time the Earth had no atmosphere or Climate.

Go ahead, develop alternative forms of energy that supply the needs of the world.

-————-It is unfortunate that the term “Global Warming” was used before “Climate Change.” It all hangs together.
.
Those who previously denied Global Warming are now denying Climate Change, in spite of all the evidence, refusing to acknowledge that warming and cooling are inter-related.
.
Decades ago (as a young man) I wrote to my Congressman to start working for a governmental solar energy policy. He wrote me back, basically saying that it was too expensive. This was in 1979. Can you imagine, if Congress had begun working on solar energy at that time? Where would we be today?
.
Of course, my Congressman resisted – I lived in Texas at the time. He had the interests of the oil companies in mind, much like the attitude of today’s politicians.
.
Today I viewed a Fox News report that claims that Germany has made advances in solar energy, only because they enjoy more sunlight than the United States.
See: http://www.slate.com/blogs/future_tense/2013/02/07/fox_news_expert_on_solar_energy_germany_gets_a_lot_more_sun_than_we_do_video.html
.
Sadly, their viewers probably take that as factual, refusing to accept the real truth.

@onguard
You continue to confuse climate change over millions of years with change over centuries. And you continue to not appreciate the disruptions that such rapid change will produce in human societies. I suspect that you could not survive a month without electricity.
