If Michigan wants to rub the backs of the tea party, New York state will GLADLY take those car plants AND their unions.

Really? Who is angry at the bailout?
Besides, what difference does it make?

@Chillbilly
I can’t see that happening. I don’t think there would be any tax or wage advantage for them to do that.

they should pay their taxes. So should the many others who don’t pay taxes. Why is it just for the common people? it’s not right,you CEOS. Besides you take what used to be raises for workers, that money and don’t give any raises. you don’t increase wages or pay taxes.
dannysixpack said, 4 months ago
^i always wondered why raises for working people was considered “inflationary”, but raises for executives isn’t.
Also wondered why contracts with the workers are ok to cancel, but contracts with executives are sancrosanct.

@HOWGOZIT
New York state has a very high quality of life and much higher than average wages. One of the reasons is because we have a strong public sector. If people want to move to Oklahoma or Alabama to save a few dollars on their tax bill, I’ll hold the door open for them as they leave.

Well, it would be nice if they paid it ALL back, not just part of it.
