Why ficitonal you? They were attacking the “you” that you had created and shown everyone. So if that is fictional, what is the real you? We have seen no proof of if.

I’ll vote for him in November. What we need is another FDR.
Maybe we can get another FDR in 2016.

The First Lady gave a good speech. We expected as much. But really, Barack knows poverty? Barack was raised by a single mom? Struggled until G’pop stepped in to help? Please.

Ann married O SR., O Jr. was born in 1961 and yet Ann and infant son lived in Seattle from 1961 to 1963 as she went to school. No Dad? No support checks? Really? Must be ’casue when she moved back in with mom and dad to continue school in Hawaii Dad was still not in evidence but then Ann had the support of her well to do parents I suppose.

So Ann gets a divorce from O SR in ’63 and marries Lolo in ’65 then moves to Jakarta with 6 year old O Jr. in ’67. Where the then named Barry was legally adopted by Lolo and made a legal Indonesian citizen. His name was changed to Barry Soetoro.

Read this article about Lolo and check out the Ann section. She was never a struggling single mom and Barak never lived in poverty.

His choices as an adult, his loans and his debt at of his own making and therefore his responsibility. He is a millionaire today. So what is the point?

In “The West Wing” there is an episode titled “Let Bartlet be Bartlet”. One can hope that – reelection behind him – President Obama can unleash his full potential. The thing he is most afraid of is to be seen as an angry black man. I guess sometimes it’s good to be angry. In other words: OBAMA SMASH!!!

Reality is not always like mathematics, a “black or white” situation. Obama clearly understands this, in many ways.

It’s interesting that today’s Republican party still supports “Reaganomics” and the “no tax, keep spending, and deregulate” approach, and blames Obama’s three plus years for our economic “problems”, but doesn’t note that even a slow recovery IS a recovery, despite total opposition from Republicans, and “blue dogs” in the Congress, who fought tenaciously to retain the “Bush tax cuts” (which actually were not “his”).

It’s also interesting in their referral to the depression, and recovery from that, they OVERLOOK the FACT that it was deregulation, under REPUBLICAN administrations using that same theory, that CAUSED THE DEPRESSION!

No some things aren’t mathematics, or black and white, but the cause of the “Great Depression”, and the crash of 2008, that took a considerable time to reach, and that will still take a while to recover from, IS “mathematics”.

You simply can’t cut your income and keep spending, and no; as Ike, and Clinton, proved, taxing the “rich” does NOT stop job growth, the income derived stabilizes the economy, and GROWS jobs. It is deregulation, that allows corporate “interests” to ignore the needs of the nation, taking only their OWN profits to heart, that caused the “problems”.

Sorry, but while the Clinton administration closely resembled a Republican administration, it was technically a Democratic administration, and it was Clinton and a Republican Congress that enacted most of the deregulation that allowed the Crash of ’08 to take place.

(Of course, the regulations passed under FDR that prevented another crash for almost 80 years had been gradually eased by Reagan and Bush, Sr before Clinton finished the job.)

You know so much about President Obama and his past, why don’t we know ANYTHING about robme’s taxes, or plans to fix this country? I mean besides he made millions, paid a paltry % in tax for the ONE year we know about and he plans to lower his and his peers’ taxes even more and then stick us with the bill?
