Only problem here is Roberts did legislate from the bench! No where in the law was it referred to as a tax. He changed the meaning of what was written in the law. Even Obummer vehemently claimed it was not a tax! If it had been called a tax, it would never have passed the House.

So you think this bill was voted on when the repubs had a majority in the house? Better read up on your recent history or maybe pick up a newspaper…

It’s fun watching the Wrong-Wingers spin, spin, spin. Yes, it’s getting to be hilarious.

Maybe the next time health care legislation comes up, the Republicans will participate rather than obstruct.

Roberts probably did the GOP a favor. (Should that be a surprise?) First it takes some steam out of the argument that the Court is out of control and only does the corporate will — though that really isn’t the case here. Then it enlivens the Right wing “Obama is leading us to SOCIALISM” fringe. Roberts thinks that a GOP win in November will undo everything Obama (and Democrats since Roosevelt) have accomplished.

kagan refusing to recuse herself from the case when she helped write the law says all that needs be said about morally bankrupt taxocrats….soon the Treasury coffers will be just as bankrupt.

    Liberals love taxes.

She was working in the public interest when she helped write the bill and now she is working in the public interest on the Supreme Court. The would only be considered a conflict of interest if we were discussing some kind of sporting event. On the other hand Clarance Thomas has a clear financial interest and didn’t recuse himself. Now tell me all about moral bankruptcy. And do you want to talk about the Republicans bankrupting the country. That’s a long story.

Ima: Liberals don’t “love” taxes, but we recognize our part in supporting society.

$35 K a year conservatives, (like TEA party and our “friends with opinions” here) with little education, intelligence, or information, LOVE corporations, and Billionaire corporate dudes, who screw them over, and don’t pay any taxes, shipping their money to overseas tax shelters, and getting “kickbacks” they engineered with lawmakers to get back far more in subsidies than what they “supposedly” do pay in taxes.
