    “the sole purpose of providing high paying jobs.”

    Selective reading disorder?

    I work two jobs. One of them is part-time at Walmart. It is the most lucrative part-time job I’ve ever had. Sure the people that shop there can be “legendary”, but hey! Company’s doing great. People like shopping there. A liberal’s worst nightmare.

    I’m confused. Am I supposed to love, hate, or tolerate Walmart? Am I supposed to shop there or not shop there? Last I checked there were ample places to shop and ample places to work? Why are people so bent out of shape at Walmart?

    The average wage at Costco is $15/hr. 80% of their employees have health insurance. Costco limits their mark-up to 15%. Don’t tell me a high-wage business model is unworkable.

    “the left wing media (aren’t they all?) “….and liberals in general, who are so thoroughly agitated, disturbed, and overwrought by people who are willing to actually work.”

    A bit slanted there, aren’t we?

    You work two jobs and you vote Republican?? Good grief, you might as well be a chicken and vote for Col. Sanders. The end result is the same.

    If you make less than $1245 a month, you might qualify for food stamps.

    Try Costco. It has no problem paying a decent wage.

    Costco provides better pay and benefits, yes, but “big box” does harm many communities by eliminating small businesses that can’t complete on wholesale prices they have to pay. Walmart has FAR more predatory policies than Costco or even other “big box” btw,

    When you are in need of a job and there aren’t any else around, what do you do?

    @Gypsy8

    You should want everyone to be paid what they are worth in this economy. Just like the family who owns it pay themselves millions they are not poor.
