    …“conservatives just aren’t funny.”

    You’re right. They’re tragic.

It’s just an end-run around the NRA and ‘No Background Checks’ legislation. Now the Gov’t can track who buys what and how much!

I have to ask, Tigger, were you a fan of the Smothers Brothers? After all, they did get kicked off of TV for being too Liberal for the time.
But kudos on recognizing the quote. They were and still are a funny pair.
And, btw, one of their writers (and occasional performers) was Steve Martin.

    Pat Paulson for President.

I still have that record. And it’s still funny. Interesting that his (and Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In’s) characterizations of Ronald Reagan (he was governor of California at the time) were perfectly apropos to what he was like as president.

The point is that ANY and ALL supposedly “private” information is there and can be used for ANY purpose. Government, as an entity, has high ideals, but powerful individuals usually seek to promote themselves or their agenda. Did anyone say “blackmail?”

Well done. I got nowhere trolling for conservatives today. Doesn’t mean I’ll stop trying.
