Instead of banning performance enhancing drugs in sports, let’s just go ahead and encourage them!
I want to watch some roided up baseball player try to hit a 320 M.P.H. Fastball, or see some football player crossing the goal line carrying 6 guys on his back!
And just imagine how fast Lance could have done the Tour if he hadn’t had to hide his drug use?
After all, isn’t that why most people go to sporting events in the first place??
To see “specially trained” athletes doing things most average people can’t do?
It’s kind of like why a lot of people watch NASCAR. They aren’t interested in the race, they want to see the crashes.
So let’s let them watch some 290 pound football player flip out and go into pure roid rage!
Not all that different then the old “Games” in the Roman Coliseum, is it?
Sure, they will be physical wrecks, and totally mentally unstable by the age of 40, but isn’t it a cheap price to pay for a couple of years of fame, and some money??
    (Please note the sarcasm…)

I agree. Sports are already tainted and half the people involved are already using. Just let the damn ball drop already.

The only place that cheaters who abused performance enhancing drugs belongs is in a halfway house, never in the Hall of Fame. MLB disgusts me with how they don’t come down on these cheaters like a ton of bricks, makes MLB the most corrupt sport.

But if we did that, then we’d have to give up the flimsy pretense we uphold that it’s a “fair competition” that “only the most skilled can win”. Can this country be that honest with itself?
