R’money and the republican chicken hawks are so cowardly to attack Big Bird. That’s okay just wait until Big Bird’s millions of fans fly up high and take a big dump on the R’money cabal November 6, 2012.

America saved from creeping socialism in a daring night-time raid. Thanks to the troops for keeping us safe and defending freedom. Now lets double the military and go bomb someone.

“If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will
    be.”

Tom would have been rejected by the Tea Party and the GOP. He was a great proponent for education; after all, he created the Library of Congress!!! I wonder when they are going to sell that to balance the budget.

Big Bird’s overrated, it’s the fact that the good ol’ Cookie Monster is going to get the boot is depressing!! No more “C is for Cookie” but “C is for Cut the hell out of educational opportunity”

Big Bird supports himself, but there are many other worthwhile programs on PBS and NPR, which definitely educate people on issues Mitt would rather not think about.

The fallacy with both Romneys statement and the cartoons that have come out of it is that Sesame Street makes most of its budget from merchandising

He wouldn’t have sat on that small chair nearby (as the President did, in order to avoid the impression of gloating or spiking the ball). Romney would have been sitting dead center, on a golden throne, holding a Bin-Laden-doll wearing a noose to make clear who’s the “hero”…

I guess the left is afraid that without tax dollars ,they won’t be able to broadcast their leftwingnut crud to the few viewers and listeners that they have.Air America sure did well didn’t it?

Just treat Sesame Street/PBS the same as the big oil companies. Send it a ten figure check, each month…

Hmmm… looks like Romney is at least in the room. Obama wasn’t in the ‘room’, (for the Bin Laden takedown)… but was later photoshopped in…

Romney has spent the past two years attacking teachers, police, firefighters, and every government public servant as “scabs” who should all be fired, so taxes on the wealthy can be reduced, and suddenly in the “debate” he says he wants to help them, improve education, defense, and public service, while CUTTING TAXES: AGAIN!???

Big Bird does indeed have his own “capitalist” income source from marketing NOT dependent on government, correct. However, teachers who educate our kids, and all those other public servants who keep them safe, do NOT have “marketing capabilities” to boost their incomes, retirement, or benefits. They aren’t in the boat with Mitt Romney, Jack Welch, Pat Robertson, or Rush Limbaugh.
