Interesting the difference between the reception of Wall Street thieves, versus the Attorney General, or any administration official appearing before a Republican controlled House committee.

If Eric Holder had given Scott Brown $70 million, congress would be pretty polite to him too.

Corporations are not people, money is not free speech, time for a new amendment to the constitution.

Used to be “robber Barons and railroad tycoons”
Shady people and criminals should not be allowed to take office.
Plutocrats are in charge and have been for a while and it’s getting worse.
YEt too many people vote for politicians who are so pro-wall street! mmm Rommney… I don’t get it.

Just like the past 250 years. Why should someone who prints ‘hope and change’ make a change to political corruption?

There was a Republican Senator from Pennsylvania sometime in the 1890s who defined an “Honest Politician”
as “One who once he is bought, STAYS bought!”
The more things change, the more they stay the same!

The people of PA elect the most honest politicians money can buy (Toomey) and the most honest money can’t buy (Casey).

Actually, that was Simon Cameron, the first Republican Senator from Pennsylvania. He had to resign in a scandal, and Lincoln made him Ambassador to Russia. His other famous quote was about the Smithsonian Institution, “I am tired of all this sort of thing called science here… We have spent millions in that sort of thing for the last few years, and it is time it should be stopped.”
