Kreole, the one point where I would disagree with you is the “can’t sing” bit. I didn’t care for most of the music he did as an adult, but I think he was a good singer and a GREAT performer, in the same sense that the appeal of Elvis was more for the performance than for the material being performed.

I never really was a fan of his but I do feel a sense of sympathy for the man if you look at how he led his life you can see a person who was in a lot of emotional pain and trying to find love. may this man finaly find his peace and my prayers go with his family and friends.
