Et tu, Brute…
Written by Shakespeare, at which point in the play Caesar resigns himself to death.
Not really applicable since Caesar died and the Democratic Party most decidedly did not!

“Dem’s did not back Lieberman”
Obama supported Lieberman in 2006, and this is “payback”?
Lieberman is a neocon shill and was the de facto Republican candidate from Connecticut in 2006, and the only reason he didn’t join the Republican Party outright is because he had more power holding the Democrats by the balls. Even now he hasn’t switched because the Republicans haven’t offered him a good enough bribe, i.e. high-level committee chairmanships.
Lieberman is looking out for Lieberman, and to hell with anything or anyone else.

After a meeting with Senate Majority leader Harry Reid, Liberman went to see Mitch McConnell, Republican Minority leader.

The point is senator Lieberman back stabbed the democratic party by going to the Republicans supporting McCain, but how about Judas.

Nah, Judas sold out a charismatic leader who presented a threat to the rich establishment, and according to Dante, ended up being personally chewed by one of Lucifer’s mouths (along with Brutus) after hanging himself out of guilt. I hardly see a comparison – Lieberman has no conscience!
