Really amazing that our Ivy League commentators are talking so gushingly about Palin’s scripted performance compared to Couric’s unscripted ones. Being President is a lot tougher than any other job, as Bill Clinton found, no amount of experience and smarts ever prepares us completely for the job. Only an awareness of what has happened in the past gives them a clue as to how to act. Here reading lots of books seriously all our lives and especially in college helps a lot. So non-readers such as W Bush and McCain will not make the right decisions. Obama who remains calm in a crisis and knows history very well, has the judgement and smarts to lead us out of this and future difficulties to come much better than McCain. Fear has worked well for Hitler so the election is not over until it is over.

Ivy League commentators? Who? (Speaking as an Ivy Leaguer who thought Palin was obviously preprogrammed.)

Maybe jimbo was confusing them with Bush league commentators…

StewieZ says:
So who does Biden blame when he screws up over and over again?
YAWN, YAWN.

Um Stew… I don’t believe he blames anybody, but if you have a link where he blamed somebody else… by all means dish it up.

Actually Biden doesn’t need to blame anyone - He’s a democrat, so he’s automatically forgiven. This cartoon depicts the MSM media view of the Republicians - The Republicans don’t blame anyone, the media projects the blame for them.

This is spot on…
One thing about Bush I really hate is how He never fights back against the Media and all these Leftist that have been maligning him for 8 years now…
He just seats there and takes it, never understood that…

Machado is right, why don’t the President fight back?
Even Ike fought back from his bed.

”…The Republicans don’t blame anyone, the media projects the blame for them…”
.
Just for fun, let’s see a former Machado’s post in this very forum blaming someone else: ”The roots of this current ‘Housing’ meltdown started long ago during the Carter years..another effort by the Left to push Socialism through the back door, check it out or better yet ask Barnie Frank…..

Like this, you can find countless similar comments under Stew, Mach, and many others…
Quod erat demonstrandum: Republicans DO BLAME anybody else anytime they need!!!

Machado - whaaa? Bush got the entire media to lay down for him for years - why should he fight it? The New York Times repeated the Iraq lies for him – as was well-proven.
Also, when you’ve got ludicrous power, as the Congress voted him (Republicans and Democrats – plenty of blame all around), who cares what a few minor cartoons say?
