Haha, funny ,But at least he was and is a real Hero, unlike the other guy that keeps bringing up a grandfather…..

This is a fact.
Sorry Machado, when someone uses their “POW” status to deflect arguments, it belittles the experience of all POWs.
McCain was a Navy pilot in Vietnam. Great. Does that make him better than any other vet? He sure thinks so.

If his use was apropos to the discussion that would be great, but he is turning into Rudy. I’m certainly not belittling his service, only his use of the POW thing to deflect from his numerous gaffes. I do believe it’s his handlers and not his choice.

Well, in all honesty I agree, but I also don’t listen to every speech McCain makes to notice…who’s got that kind of time available…

It’s not enough to be just a military, you have to be a leader.
Should all POW should be presidents someday? They sure should be treated better than they are now. Why not give them all the GOP nomination? ;)
Seriously, POW diserve our respect and they have gone through stuff we cant’even imagine. But that’s not enough to be president. McCain’s using what he’s gone through like Hillary was hiding behind her marriage certificate. That brings down all POWs.
If you really have respect for war heroes, stop cutting their salaries.

Corosive frog, have you checked McCain’s Military family lineage, he’s got “leadership”’ built into his DNA.
Any man that’s courageous enough to jump into fire is ready to be President anytime….Look it up!!!

Then he’s someone else’s junior, like W. was.
Checking the lineage only works when choosing a good dog or a horse. That’s the way people thought in the middle ages when they decided who was going to be king based on their ancestry.
This is the 21st century.
