Liberals only like free speech when it’s from the left.
They’re fine with calling Pres. Bush the new Hitler, but if somebody thinks marriage should be between one man and one woman, LOOK OUT FOLKS!
    Hang that guy!

How pathetic we have become that a person cannot support a political/moral viewpoint without radical organizations becoming vitriolic and vociferous in their condemnation of said person and that person’s viewpoint. When did we quit supporting Voltaire’s oft misquote "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”? We have become piteous as we prostrate ourselves before political correctness in fear that the radical will also condemn us. Disgusting.

Maybe you should change your name to overtired. You really need to chill out & stop with the petty name calling. Trying to stop discrimination doesn’t qualify anyone to be called a socialist loser. I won’t try changing your mind but try being more respectful to those you disagree with.

Does a medley from “Rocky: The Musical” count?

Why are there so many stupid people in the world? Simple. 50% of the population has below average intelligence. That means there are about 3.5 billion fools in the world. And they come from all sides of the political spectrum.

Just an observation: Mike Lester knows how to press the boo-boo spot, doesn’t he? Comments all across the spectrum. Personally, I liked the Mechanic’s opinion.

I’m liberal and openly gay. I don’t care about the former CEO’s politics. As long as he didn’t use misuse Mozilla funds to support political groups, use Mozilla’s name to endorse his views, or create a hostile workplace, it was wrong to force him out.

Those who advocate tolerance, should practice it.

    Tell me about the NRA.

“…how do you think this differs from what the NRA did to the Surgeon General nominee?”

Generally speaking, there isn’t much difference.

My rant was more of a general criticism of those asses that blindly support radical groups and the morons in the populace that become frantic over said group’s criticism. This recent example with the Mozilla CEO just graveled my butt enough to cause me more than normal annoyance. I probably should have somehow indicated that my post was intended as generic and not the ’toon’s specific example.

Nice post, Jase, particularly that last line.

I am straight but I know A LOT of gays and they’re the nicest people I’ve ever met. Can’t watch them kiss, though, turns my stomach, two mustaches intertwined, you know ;-)

I’m conservative and heterosexual. I completely support your right to live as you choose and to support the political agenda that you believe is best for this country.

    .
I’m certain that the vast majority of people in this country share a common set of core values and personal objectives. It is the lunatic fringe on both extremes that seeks to inflame the minor differences between us.
