Amazing there is no sense of proportion left. A computer glitch is what I’ve always called “standard programmer idiocy to make the computer, not the user, happy.” Contracting the program didn’t help, but has been standard government SOP since Reagan.(or even before in some realms)

But the toon can’t help but make me put Rumsfeld in the driver’s seat, regarding both Iraqis, and our own troops. Now THAT was a screwup!!

Hey, Lester! I don’t expect the TRUTH interrupt your Monty Python reminiscences, but RomneyObamaCare is a REPUBLICAN plan. At least it WAS the Republican plan until President Obama supported it. RomneyObamaCare was conceived as the Heritage Foundation’s “free market” approach to healthcare and conceived specifically to oppose the late Sen Kennedy’s single payer proposal, a phased in expansion of Medicare. Okay; had to say it. Now back to your l980’s Monty Python re-runs.

@wmconelly “RomneyObamaCare was conceived as the Heritage Foundation’s “free market” approach to healthcare…”

    Um, no.

USA Today: Is the individual mandate at the heart of “ObamaCare” a conservative idea? Is it constitutional? And was it invented at The Heritage Foundation? In a word, no.
