She was raised in Saudi Arabia (according to Ms Dowd of the New York Times), and could never have married an infidel. So Weiner MUST have said the Shahada, and, once you’ve said it, there’s no going back.

So he’s legally entitled to three more. Only intolerant religious bigots would complain about Mr Weiner’s exercising his rites as a Muslim.

Are you a new troll, or just another pseudonym for one an existing troll?

Huma Mahmood Abedin Weiner (b.1976) has quite an interesting history some of you may not be aware of.

“While a student at George Washington University, Abedin began working as an intern in the White House in 1996, assigned to then-First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

So she had a “ground floor seat” for the whole… er… Monica Lewinsky… er…. “situation”. While some may speculate that, hey, Bill had his intern, maybe Hillary had hers", I won’t go there. But there is no doubt that Huma became a part of the Clinton “inner-circle”, and I’m sure Hillary and Huma commiserated on the “men are pigs and you’ve got to stand by your man” thinking, especially if it benefits you politically down the road.

Now, to those who will condemn me and say “What makes you think Hillary would confide with a lowly intern about her personal affairs, consider:

”She later worked as her traveling chief of staff and “body woman”… [I don’t know what that is; maybe a body double used during video shoots, or she was the same height to adjust the prompter pre-production before Hillary took the stage— a common practice] …during Clinton’s 2008 Democratic Presidential nomination campaign,23 and subsequently served as Deputy Chief of Staff under Clinton in the State Department.8 She is currently a director of the transition team that is helping Clinton return to private life,94 and works for the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation.

Abedin married then-Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY) in 2010; Bill Clinton performed the wedding ceremony. At a celebration before [their] wedding, Bill Clinton said in a speech, “I only have one daughter. But if I had a second daughter, it would [be] Huma.”12

(JASSE, this parts for you.): In 2012, [4 Senators] sent a letter to the Deputy Inspector General of the Department of State requesting an investigation into the influence of anyone associated with the Muslim Brotherhood on State Department policy, citing a study by the Center for Security Policy that claimed that Abedin “has three family members–her late father, her mother and her brother–connected to Muslim Brotherhood operatives and/or organizations”.1314 [The CSP is a 401©(3) non-profit think-tank that describes itself as non-partisan, but in the interest of fairness, I would describe it as Right-Wing, just as I describe “non-partisan” groups Left-Wing when that’s as I see them.]

“Maverick” John McCain (hereafter referred to as “putz boy” and Lindsay Graham (how many times have I written that these two must be joined at the hip? They may be secret lovers) defended Abedin against the allegation. “These attacks on Huma have no logic, no basis and no merit. And they need to stop now.”[16] And I guess they did. (Queue Liberals applauding McCain who otherwise have no need for anything he has to say. See his remarks on Stand Your Ground a few toons back.)

Then in 2013 there were concerns raised about Abedin working for the State Dept while working as a consultant to private clients for consulting firm Teneo Holdings.1718. The State Dept response? Nope. Nothing to see here, no conflict of interest. And that was that. More shades of Hillary.

    She is the Stepford-Clinton-Wife.

Oops. Forgot to provide a source for my quotes. It’s Wikipedia, but anyone who’s been paying attention knows all these facts from plenty of other sources.

Political backstories and biographies are not “gossip”.

But I DO know how much liberal, uninformed voters like you enjoy “mindless, personal attack gossip”, so I’ll try to keep it to the likes of the Kardashians, just for you.
