    Al sold [out] to Al?

I wonder if Al Jazeera’s attempt to get into the US market will subvert its independent stance (i.e. for Americans, its ‘anti-American’ stance becomes more obsequious to American marketability interests)

Already made my comment on Al Gore under Mr. Holbert’s cartoon for today. The short of it – He doesn’t really move me.
I am curious to see what Al Jazeera presents to its US viewers. Thomas Jefferson told me to do so. I even know some folks serving in the Middle East who watch them.
Only time, and ratings, will tell.
    Respectfully,
    C.

anyone who tells the truth about or critisizes the U.S. is automatically anti American, just as anyone who tells the truth or critisizes Israel is antomatically anti semitic. collectively these are very thin skinned people.

What was the name of that other network that is part owned by a Saudi billionaire who was accused of funding terrorists?
    Oh yeah! FOX News!

Bad Al Gore caricature, worse racist Arab. Good job Mike Lester, you consistently lower the bar.

That’s your best come back on this?

LOL, guess you can’t challenge that Al Gore (Bore?) is a sell out and more interested in lining his pocket.

Oh, did you get the memo that he also tried to push the sale through before the first of the year to avoid the tax hike? Typical hypocrite . . .

Oh, and the Al Gore caricature is spot on.

With a HANDSHAKE? How dare Gore use that traditional American-values trustworthy method of doing business. Doesn’t he know he needs a ton of lawyers, courts, and contracts?

I know those are your deeply held convictions. I know it’s what you believe.
But I’m betting you can’t come up with evidence of any kind to back that claim.
    .
It’s the way the Left thinks – they are told some things over and over and over and eventually they believe them but have no idea where they got the belief in the first place.
    .
When confronted with actual evidence to the contrary, the name-calling, insulting and demeaning begins.

I still think you don’t quite grasp the cartoon.

I think you’re putting the emphasis on the wrong sylABle.

Just brings to mind GW Bush at his ranch kissing the Saudi king after 911 when a Saudi hit team trained in America and lead by a Saudi carried out the plan to destroy the towers.

Your double standards are astonishing. You recite the republican game plan verbatim, “Tell a lie often enough and it will believed as true.” Then accuse and complain that the Democrats are doing the EXACT same thing that you ignore/accept/excuse from the republicans.

" guess you can’t challenge that Al Gore (Bore?) is a sell out and more interested in lining his pocket."

How dare he exhibit a republican value.

“Oh, did you get the memo that he also tried to push the sale through before the first of the year to avoid the tax hike? Typical hypocrite . . "

So you are complaining about Gore exercising and benefiting from capitalism? I guess the free market and seeking the most favorable tax treatment are only acceptable when it’s a republican benefitting.
