    Sadly, there are people that celebrate this disrespect.

    Really people, it wasn’t intentional! It was a prop head, part of a shipment, sent out because the producers needed heads to put up on a wall. Nothing more than that. You want something to be upset about, I suggest the high school teacher in Montreal who showed his class the Lin Jun murder video, the 22 students in the class who voted to have it shown. Then there’s the principal, guidance counsellor, a third staff member from the Walter Whyte school in Grand Marais Manitoba Canada, plus an adult chaperone who fed moose dropping to grade school children! Include the members of the Lord Selkirk School Division (of which Walter Whyte school is a part) and the Manitoba Minister of Education Nancy Allen for having done NOTHING about those 4 creeps!

    Darned right! Nothing funny here, now if it had been Shrub’s head . . . Mind you, I’m thinking of Congresswoman Gifford, the Republican ads showing a sniper target on an image of her . . . what Game of Thrones did was an accident, completely unintentional and unplanned. What the Republicans did was deliberate.

    Yeah, come on, this is no big deal! And if Obama’s head turns up on a pike on HBO, I’m sure the media will just laugh it off the same way. You know, right after they burn the network to the ground.

    From the pictures i’ve seen it was quite hard to make out his face, they put a pretty big wig on it. This is another tempest in a teapot, but if you don’t have anything constructive to talk about that’s all you have left…

    Just like there are people who celebrate this:

    You’re one of them. Towards the end of the Bush Administration the conservative mantra was that it was treason to criticize the President while troops are in harm’s way. That doesn’t seem to apply when the President isn’t a Republican, does it?

    @ghostkeeper

    Telescopic sights have been used for years by BOTH parties to illustrate political campaign ‘targets’. To suggest that this visual aid is anything more than that is a quantum stretch of imagination even for liberals.

    While I could accuse you of just lying, I will be polite and give you the benefit of the doubt and just say your allegation that the GOP put cross hairs on Gifford’s face is totally inaccurate. What they DID do is put a cross hair on a map over the state of Arizona and list those Democrat representatives there who might be defeated by Republicans. Totally innocuous.

    The producers should have kept their mouths shut. It was a prop, which I doubt anyone noticed, at least I didn’t, and as anyone here notes, I’m NOT a fan, in any way, of “W”. But, if it HAD been intentional, I too would have thought it in very poor taste. (With regard to bringing him to trial before the World Court over the invasion of Iraq, with Cheney and many of their aids, appropriate, but not as “political ploy” or “joke”.)

    Your words were….. "I’m thinking of Congresswoman Gifford, the Republican ads showing a sniper target on an image of her ….. . " There is no image of Gifford in your link……. You have forfeited your Integrity……. If it was an accident please say so, It happens.

    Actually, according to liberals and democrats, it only applies when they are in power.
