Words mean nothing, actions mean everything…..Lying is now excepted……. Selected omission(s) in the media is common. …..Take the time to learn the truth or suffer the consequences…

The President can do little about the price of gas. The price
is being raised by speculators on Wall Street, even as
the country has large supplies and use is down.

Great cartoon! Whether or not the president controls the price of gas is beside the point – when a Republican is president, the MSM blames him, when a Democrat is president, they ignore it.

Anyone in a newsroom that has to ask who’s in the white house should not be making decisions on stories to run.

Thus, the converse to Franklin is “He, who learns from others no matter how hopelessly incompetent they may be, is a flaming genius”.

Gas went up above 4 bucks during the Bush Administration, I can’t remember Fox News even saying it once. At least the media (I wish Liberal Media) does give it enough credence (it’s not that important a story yet and only Fox News makes it a big deal cause any economic bad news is good news when a “Demo” Crat is in the White House.

Well speculators are a part of it, the real cause for rise in gas prices, the oil finery (read texas refineries in particular) don’t make enough money refining gas so they’ve shut down Refineries. To give the president influence over gas prices, the Government has to own Refineries, I wonder what the GOP presidential candidates will say about that "Socialism anyone ? "

How do you conclude that a President, who could not organize a two car parade in Dublin, could run a refinery?

Well the Private sector ain’t doing such a grand job but you want me to trust my means of transportation in their hands when their goal is simply to squeeze maximum profit from me. I think I’ll go with a balance where my government intervenes when necessary and checks the raw power of money

I don’t “FEEL GOOD” when gas and groceries go off the chart. This did not happen when Bush was president!
