Why is this a US issue?
Why should we send warplanes to get shot down over there?
    Where’s the UN? Where’s NATO?

NATO already paid for the Maidan uprising that got rid of the corrupt government with Eastern Ukrainian leaders, and they’re paying for the Western Ukrainian leaders to crush the rebellion in the resource-rich Eastern Ukraine. NATO has done all it can. Now the US military is desperately needed to nuke the Russkies and make sure all of the Ukraine’s resources are available for exploitation by US job-creators.

It is NOT the taxpayers’ place to repay the republicans’ political favors to the über-wealthy who bought them their elections.
    -———-
You mean like the folks that run GE,Costco,Google, the Washington Post,George Lucas,Dr. Dre,Warren Buffet, and all the other extremely rich Democrat tax dodgers/DNC political $$$$$$$$ donors ?
Or just the ones that flew thier private jets to D.C. in record numbers for Obama’s inauguration’s.
Where I live they have $40,000 to $64,000 a plate fund raisers for Democrats. When the Republicans have one it’s $2500 a plate but they have a lot more contributors.

The dems are being short sighted yet again when it comes to threats from over seas. They wait until it costs 10 times as much to survive as it would if they did something sooner.
    Like they did in WWII.
Get out your burka’s and chador’s Democrat women/slaves to be, your men will surrender and convert rather then do anything to save you from the Islamic jihad jerks.

It is a US issue because we egged Ukraine on to sever ties with Russia. What would be our response if Mexico suddenly allied itself with China?

    asked:“Where’s the UN?
Russia is part of the Permanent Security Council.
    With veto powers.

    You asked: ”Where’s NATO?“
Ukraine is not a NATO member.

You asked: ”Why is this a US issue?"

The USA & the UK signed the Budapest Memorandum

    Cameron is wagging his finger.

You asked: “Why should we send warplanes to get shot down over there?”
…and Obama replied no military intervention

“We are not taking military action to solve the Ukrainian problem,” he said. “It is very important to understand that a military solution to this problem is not going to be forthcoming.”

replied to the questions: “Where’s the UN? Where’s NATO?” with:
“Waiting, as usual, for the US to play the world’s policeman.”

    Ah, no. Read above.
The USA, btw, is a founding member of NATO. It kinda runs that show, too. (so why ask"where’s NATO?". Americans must be a forgetful lot.

Exactly the same as your response was when Cuba allied itself with Russia.

If $64,000-a-plate fundraisers started resulting in the deaths of American soldiers, would you be more in favor of them? Because you seem to tilt towards whatever will result in “boots on the ground” (followed soon by bodies).

Thanks for adding clarification to my post – it is silly of me to assume that people would actually review a link I posted.

A conservative cartoonist had a cartoon last week claiming that Obama had played nearly 200 rounds of golf so far during his presidency. That’s 200 golf games for the roughly 2100 days he’s been president. While you’re at it, why don’t you demand to see his birth certificate or whine about his use of teleprompters? It’s all the same line of bull sh-t.
