It’s not that I don’t believe in climate change, I just question the influence man actually has on climate change. They have found fossils of tropical plants in typically cold regions and there also used to be glaciers throughout the finger lakes region of New York. Climate change happens…with and without man’s help.

But if all the environmentalists are really serious about doing something about it, why not get serious without America always having to foot the bill. How about this?

America does no trade with any country that does not meet our current EPA standards. That is serious commitment and it is fair.

It would also go a long way in reducing our trade deficit and increase jobs here as we would have to manufacture everything we are currently getting from places like China and Bangladesh.

Until your final paragraph I think your thinking was accurate. By “boycotting” the low EPA standard markets, they will turn to China or other markets. The best way to influence business is to be in business with them.

Speaking of Plutocrats how are George Soros, the Clintons, Al Gore, Judith Avery, Ted Turner, all of Hollywood, Paul Krugman and MSNBC? So who is doing the shilling and who is weak-minded?

On your first Paragraph; Amen brother. We understand how carbons effect the weather but that is about all we understand. So it is man’s fault, we don’t understand all the effects nature has on its own.

Have to disagree with you on the second, China, to a lesser extent India.

Interesting concept. The general idea has been that you have to be part of the system to influence it, but that hasn’t seemed to work really well.

Regardless of the value of the idea, it will not be undertaken. Follow the money. If we don’t do business with China, who else is going to provide us with cheap electronics? And doing things cheap is always better than doing things right; that’s why regulations are so very terrible.

2013 was the fourth hottest on record for the world.
Alaska is heading for the warmest ever.

Oddly enough, no cold records were broken this winter in the states, cold as it seems it was warmer than winters in the 60’s.

Record heat was recorded all over the southern hemisphere as well as in the Arctic.

no, the whacks see their backyard and that is good enough for them.

Thank you Stipple you said it perfectly. Here in the Seattle area we’re having an exceptionally mild Winter with just a couple brief snowfalls that quickly dissipated. Last Winter we had no snow at all. I know in other parts of the Country the weather has been punishing but doesn’t take away the fact that we’re definitely experiencing real climate change.

again you prove that the only thing you can be “TRUSTED” to do is ignore any facts that disagree with your narrow perceptions. read some real newspapers the data was faked the were caught doing it. that why it’s a hoax. you know hoax = lie?

“It’s not that I don’t believe in climate change, I just question the influence man actually has on climate change.”
Try comparing human influenced climate change to an elephant’s or whale’s body infected with a virus or bacteria. As the “infection” grows, it changes and disrupts set patterns, past a point the “environment” changes, killing the infection or changing the “environment”.
(i figured a human body would be too small for the small minded to look past their prejudices.)

you say, “my Illinois propane bill says this is a Global Cooling winter.
So does my propane supplier.” Well, that settles it. Why ask the scientists when you can ask your local propane supplier?

According to the New York times this morning, “Despite ice storms in the American South, it was the fourth-warmest January on record for the earth as a whole.” But hey, disgusted’s propane supplier says it’s cold.

oh,,,my,,,,gawd…yeah the headline should read…"ignorant cartoonists that “think” just because there is a lot of snow in one place, there are no droughts or rising sea levels in other places are the biggest threat.".. Hey, you know, maybe the extra snow is a product of climate change as well!!…hmmm hmmm, science? what’s that to your right wing agenda? Party on, man.
