Well, some people can’t. Those whose insurance is provided by their employer is at the mercy of their employer’s decisions. Those who purchase their own insurance, who’ve purchased policies that don’t already follow the new minimum requirements, won’t be able to keep their policies. Those of us whose employers who provide a quality plan and are content with said plans, will be able to keep them. Same for those who purchase their own health insurance and already had a plan that meets the new minimum requirements. They too can keep their plans.
i’m sorry but your logic does not cover the one important part of the whole mess, people. people will not pay double for something they didn’t want in the first place . this is shown by huge numbers of people who instead of signing up for obama care are signing up for Medicaid instead. a system that is already on it’s way to bankruptcy and doctors will no longer accept. your socialist utopia that looks so wonderful on paper and sounds so blissful in the faculty lounge in the institutes of no learning, never take into account people. people just don’t do the artificial things liberals believe they will do. most people will always look out for their own best interest, and not leave it to the government
So, you prefer foul mouthed incompetence?Your hero advised citizens to violate all sorts of laws in the use of firearms. The guy is a political hack.
Let’s not forget the insurance companies that lied to people saying they were cancelling their insurance but had a similar plan available if they would just sign up now.
Their new plan was much more expensive than the exchanges (these are in states that agreed to expand Medicare) and was an outright fraud.
It seems that getting 30M more insureds just wasn’t enough for these rats.
I’m surprised no one has noted the similarity between Bush I saying “Read my lips…” and Obama’s promises RE: the ACA.
