    Russia, once again becoming a super power, antagonizing the west.

    Antagonizing the west, or not being a puppy dog to the west?

    Wish this country would be a little less flexible to try to make everyone love us. Go that way you will not be respected and you will not be loved.

    I think he’s referring to Saul Alinski.

    I read Alinsky back in the 60s and I wasn’t all that impressed. He’s okay, but kind of conservative.

    @mikefive

    Saul Alinski is a tired, old “Gingrich for president” meme. It has nothing to do with the real world, where the rest of us live. Harley wouldn’t know Saul Alinski if he met him at a party, and can’t even quote any of his work. He’s just parroting idiot right-wing talking points that he doesn’t even understand.

    But Putin is a fine guy! Our last president looked into his soul and reported the results.

    I hope you’re not serious. If you were to give up, I, for one, would miss your contributions.

    Saul isn’t the problem. The problem is that conservatives don’t use his tactics very well.

    The stand outs to me lately are:

    “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.”

    Applied by this administration to the “phoney” scandals. Successfully.

    “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

    Used to great advantage in the last election campaign by Obama.

    Another you guys seem to know instinctively.

    “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.”

    There are ten more “tactics” that Alinsky lists.
