Yea just like real life. The number of those at liberty to work and pay taxes keeps getting smaller. The number of dims supported by the actual tax payers keeps getting bigger.
Thanks dope heads. Thanks to all those dem jobs programs the dems put in place the first two years of Obamas presidency when the republicans couldn’t stop them. Thanks Harry Reid for not allowing a single republican jobs bill from the house on the floor of the senate. Thanks leftwing news nerds for becoming the propaganda ministry instead of doing the same thing to Obama and every other democrat you did to Bush and every republican since Eisenhower. Thanks for not reporting so many things that don’t further your leftwingnut world view.

Another paranoid depiction. Truly amazing from a guy who didn’t mind “signing statements” and Executive Orders from Bush defying the Constitution, and taking away our rights and privileges. (YEs, some things ARE privileges, not “rights”)

The second largest agency in my country is the VA. That is over 350,000 men women full time not including the part time doctors, and nurses that work at other non-va locations or Semi-retired.

It currently takes a veteran 377 days to get a reply on major medical issues. That is what the yoke does. Last no one says take the yoke away but hard leftest in an accusation. We on the right says cut it in half or more.

Again, just like I said several times before to you, you don’t know enough about the United States to criticize us so keep your red neck comments to yourself.

you would be amazed. besides with new technology like carbon fiber and new steel blends we can operate with less then a third of the old structure and double the safety margin.

So it’s OK when a democrat does it.
?? that’s a nice set of double standards you got there.

it’s not the neck that’s red, its the other big fat protudance on the backside, along with the mule it rode in on and the commissar that sent both of them.

Hmm, on reflection, maybe Ramirez is saying government is a bridge that guards and protects our liberty, like well, our military and courts as two examples?

swr, I realize you never pay attention, but I’ve often and loud criticized Obama for continuing to use obnoxious elements of the “Patriot Act” and other invasions of liberty. NO, not a double standard, but what Reagan, Bush 41 and 43 did was so much worse, and in violation of multiple laws (remember Iran/Contra) Obama still has to work really hard to catch up.

Jack, I’m hoping that at some point you’ll tell us that you send these messages from a cell phone with autocorrect on and you don’t check after typing. Otherwise Morty and OMQ are correct

The problem with this picture is that either one of two things happened.
Given that the structure has an opening for a much larger bell, it depicts a static government size with a shrinking “liberty”.
If this is so then what is the cartoonist saying? That our liberties are shrinking? OK, but due to what? The size of government in this depiction hasn’t grown given the second possibility.
The second possibility is that the picture depicts a growth in government, which would then mean that the liberties has stayed static with a larger government.
It’s just another half cocked idea from Ramirez, who never seems to give up on the kernel of an idea even when the plant turns out to be stink weed. He’s a lazy shiftless dud who understands what symbolism means but never learned how to apply that knowledge correctly.

    Oh, it’s you…
He isn’t winning a Pulitzer for this one, that is for sure.
Woody Allen has won 4 Academy Awards…. I still think he was better when he did his funny stuff.
Steven Colbert won a Pulitzer, does that make you a fan of his work? Does that make him right? Or even accurate, or even funny every night?
