A huge part of the Glen Gold Rush Standard Fox ‘News’ dynamic is herding; that is, roping anyone who can be managed into one of two groups. These are, first, the gold-starred, totally approved ditto herd, and second the ‘other,’ the anathema outlying lot or, in this case, the Media.
    -
What deconstructive, poisonous fun Mike and friends can have! All the righteous herd are invited -
nay, encouraged - to participate in the identification and segregation process. Looks, income, stray phrasing, public or private behavior, most any straw can be successfully grasped and applied to such purposes.
    -

Naturally the anathema outliers respond. Naturally sensible, fact-based dialogue over middle ground diminishes. Naturally the separation devolves through more and more ‘fun’ toward the next election… Can’t wait.

If the “Media” would just lay of the remembrances of those 10 (ten) lost war years in Iraq—-like Mike has—-hey, the Gop would be having itself another great old week.

Aside from the fact that Michael Ramirez is a perfect example of prolific media bias, you don’t have to look very hard to find boatloads of criticism from Republicans themselves (in and out of the media) about the state of their party.

No, they are not the medias knives. The far right conservative corporate owned media is trying to crush the moderate right and the center out of existence. They have already eliminated the left. Nothing is far enough to the right for them.

A little field autopsy and when they check the handles for fingerprints, they’ll find them covered with the prints of folks like rove, that 12 year old pledge writer grover norquist, lyin’ ryan and mittens romoney.

    Amen, Ramirez!
    -
The reporters and news anchors are far left of “center” and the owners of print and tv and radio media do not even try, in most cases, to influence the slant of their staff. We might make an exception to MSNBC and increasingly, CNN.
    -
every annual survey of media shows their leftwing TILT.

Except the one that really counts; President Obama won the election. That’s the real survey.

The Republicans lost because they ran a really bad candidate. Trouble is, he was the best of the field (except for Huntsman, who was unthinkable). I want Bachman next time, with Palin as VP candidate.

The ‘12 GOP primaries and Presidential campaign were a cavalcade of hate and stupidity that ensured that I’d be voting a straight Democrat ticket for the forseeable future. Good job, guys; that’s how you “reach towards the center”!

The Republicans lost of what they did when they’re in power, and what they’ve promised to do if they’re in power again. All of which they’re doing in the states in which they’re in power. And all of which is extremely unpopular. Unless you’re very, very rich. The media have nothing to do with it, except for telling the truth, which is really bad for Republicans.

They not only deserved every blade they begged for them. The rich over all! is their motto.

OK then why did a CNN poll find MSNBC the most opinionated, so who has the heard mentality?

    @Clark Kent

Oh I love this Clark thinks the media is to far to the right how cute.
