The price of gas is getting toward the $5 mark O wants to break American’s budgets and force gas to other countries like China and India.

Don’t allow speculation on oil futures – the biggest factor in gas price s rising.

The conservative talk show pundits insist Bush was not responsible for the price of gas. Not the president’s job!

This youtube video shows the hypocrisy of the Fox pundits – alternates their “Bush is not responsible for gas prices” clips with “of course gas prices are Obama’s fault” clips.

And yet it is proven that Obama has stated he wants us to have higher gas prices. David hit it on the head: He wants to force people into “Green” alternatives. Unfortunately, those alternatives are only government boondoggles and don’t really have a real-life applicability. This isn’t Europe.

Saw $3.83 at a station in Carlsbad, NM yesterday. High fuel prices are raising the cost of living for EVERYONE, even if you don’t have a vehicle. I agree, STOP the speculators…but lowering costs is NOT in this administration’s agenda.

wow. really pushing the solindra angle for all it isn’t worth. investing in renewable and conservation makes sense for the future, of course there will be stumbles – always are – but doesn’t have to be a zero sum game. I can see conservatives/reps arguing that we should be opening up more land for drilling, facking, etc. and otherwise maintaining government subsidies of fossil fuels, but are you really against also investing in renewables? fossils will eventually run out – or at least become way too expensive to extract than they are worth – and we’ll need other energy sources and we are better off starting now than later. nuclear is an option but with the waste, probably isn’t THE solution.

    - With the world ever more clearly past peak oil (those gas prices), it’s good to have a President who is looking to the energy of the future.

    - Officially, President Obama will be the best US President since FDR on 2017. Unofficially, he already is.

Mr. Ramirez, most earnestly: please name ONE policy by the Obama administration that would be responsible for rising gas prices? And please explain why you would not have painted the President as a dictator if he had actually done something, like nationalizing Exxon (as I – tyrant-in-training – would have done in the blink of an eye, just to send a signal). That’s called hypocrisy, sir!
