What lies are you referring to?
    .
Bush and Cheney set records for lies with WMDs that will never be beaten.

Ramirez can’t think of any lies. Only, since Obama is evil incarnate, he must be lying somewhere, if we were only smart enough to catch him at it. (The congress, who are the only ones empowered to help the economy, took the entire week off having not even proposed, let alone passed, a solution to the sequester. No comment on THAT in the eight conservative cartoons so far about Obama playing golf.)

The #1headline on Huffpost said McCain went home to an angry town hall meeting about immigration. Don’t those people care that the Senate went on vacation and are allowing the economy to go into the toilet?

What’s the matter? Can’t accept Obama’s recklessness and incompetence?
Gotta deflect attention away with a talking point?

“Ramirez can’t think of any lies. "
    .
How do you know what Ramirez can or can’t think of.
    .
Here’s a few lies for you. I was “smart enough” to catch him. Others are too:
    transparency
    cost of healthcare takeover
    you can keep your doctor
    won’t rob medicare
no tax increases on the middle class
    will unite the country
slowing the rise of the ocean
    .
“The American automobile industry has come roaring back”
    .
end to racism (“The people down in New Orleans [speaking to Blacks] they [white Republicans] don’t care about as much!”)
    .
“Sequestration is something that Congress proposed”
    .
“I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits — either now or in the future.”
    .
“If the Supreme Court throws out the federal health care law, it would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress.”
FACT: it would not be “unprecedented” and it wasn’t “passed by a strong majority.”
    .
David Letterman speaking with guest Rachel Maddow after the debates: "Here’s what upset me last night, this playing fast and loose with facts. And the President Obama cites the op-ed piece that Romney wrote about Detroit, “Let them go bankrupt, let them go bankrupt,” and last night he brings it up again. “Oh, no, Governor, you said let them go bankrupt, blah blah blah, let them go bankrupt.” And Mitt said, “No, no, check the thing, check the thing, check the thing.” Now, I don’t care whether you’re Republican or Democrat, you want your president to be telling the truth; you want the contender to be lying. And so what we found out today or soon thereafter that, in fact, the President Obama was not telling the truth about what was excerpted from that op-ed piece. I felt discouraged.
    .
In Council Bluffs Iowa, campaigning: “I am told that Governor Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan, might be around Iowa the next few days. He is one of the leaders of Congress standing in the way. So if you happen to see Congressman Ryan, tell him how important this farm bill is to Iowa and our rural communities.”
FACT: House passed bill on August 2, 2012 Paul Ryan voted yes.
    .
I went to PolitiFact to see what they they had and here’s just from page 1:
Obama- “For the first time since 1990, American manufacturers are creating new jobs.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    .
Obama- “Preventive care … saves money, for families, for businesses, for government, for everybody.”
Truth-O-Meter rating: False (PolitiFact- Wrong in 2009, and wrong today)
    .
Obama- “Thirty million Americans, including a lot of people in Florida, are going to be able to get healthcare next year because of that law.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    .
Obama- “I made a bunch of these promises during the campaign. … We’ve got about 60 percent done in three years.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact- “In the Works” does not equal “done”)
    .
Obama Admin.- Under President Barack Obama, the United States has “doubled our exports.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    .
Obama Admin.- The president’s proposed budget “will help reduce the deficit by $400 billion over the next decade to the lowest level since Dwight Eisenhower was president.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-A mangled reference to a prior talking point)
    .
Obama- Under the White House’s budget proposal, “we will not be adding more to the national debt” by the middle of the decade.
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-Revenue would equal outlays, but he ignores growing interest on the debt)
    .
Obama- Twelve judges have thrown out legal challenges to the health care law because they rejected “the notion that the health care law was unconstitutional.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-Score two to two on judges’ decisions on constitionality)
    .
Obama- “I didn’t raise taxes once.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    (PolitiFact-We’ve tracked a few increases)
    .
Obama- When President Franklin D. Roosevelt started Social Security, “it only affected widows and orphans,” and when Medicare began, “it was a small program.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-A grain of truth in the big picture, far off on the details)
    .
Obama- The Bush administration had been “giving (auto companies) billions of dollars and just asking nothing in return.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    .
Obama- “The vast majority of the money I got was from small donors all across the country.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(PolitiFact-Big donors bankrolled much of Obama’s campaign)
    .
Obama- “We’ve excluded lobbyists from policymaking jobs.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    (PolitiFact-We found at least four)
    .
Obama- When Obama was interviewed by American reporters in Asia, “Not one of them asked me about Asia. Not one of them asked me about the economy.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    (PolitiFact More than one did)
    .
    Obama
Insurers delayed an Illinois man’s treatment, “and he died because of it.”
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
(Insurer’s decision was reversed and man lived three more years)
    .
Obama- Health reform will “give every American the same opportunity” to buy health insurance the way members of Congress do.
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    .
Obama- (No earmarks in spending bill)
    Truth-O-Meter rating: False
    .
And don’t forget Benghazi: “It was because of a video.”

FOUR! more Trillion dollars in debt this year.”

I have no idea where you got that “FOUR! more Trillion dollars in debt this year.” The debt from January 1 to date has increased by $116,196,754,560.24 ($116 billion). Extrapolated annually at the current rate of increase that comes to $831,604,223,813.48 ($832 billion). Although a truly deplorable number, it is a far cry from “FOUR! more Trillion dollars”!

Great toon! Lots of detail on that golf bag.

And of course the reference of Barry telling everybody that the economy is great when 1 IN 6 Americans are in poverty, 50 million are on food stamps and Black unemployment is near 20%.

    Ya things are just peachy.

Well, maybe. Hey, do you remember this?

    http://middleeast.about.com/od/thisdayinmideasthistory/ig/March-16-in-Mideast-History/Kurds-Bombed-in-Halabja.htm

Did it really happen? Where did the Mustard gas come from? Did they get it from the US? Probably. So are chemical weapons WMD’s? If so then did Iraq at one time possess them? And if yes and they got them from the US and used them before is it a lie to say that they may have them still and may use them again?

I know, convoluted reasoning. But still….

So the really relevant question I have for you though… Is it OK for a person to commit a crime because someone else did the same thing?

Trying to excuse one persons shortcomings because someone else did the same thing is ludicrous.

    @ARodney

Arod, really. The house took off because the sequestration IS the solution NOT the problem.
No one seems to remember that it is the fail-safe proposed and accepted by a bipartisan congress and signed into law by the president who then stated he would veto any attempt to bypass sequestration.

Really read and commit to memory the comment from ansonia.
