Obama has managed to turn around the Bush economy, despite rock-solid GOP opposition. Not because he has bad ideas, but because if a Republican votes for a good idea, it becomes a bipartisan idea, and then they can’t use partisanship against Obama, and he wins. Romney has promised to bring back the Bush economy, only with bigger deficits this time. Check his numbers. It’s not just scary, it’s stupid scary.

    Bush’s 8-year average unemployment rate = 5.3%

I did not know 8.3% unemployment was a good thing and what direction is the deficit going now.

“Lets just hope that the country will not experience the few things that Romney has detailed. Apart from everything he just hints about. You may in a few years think that 8.3% unemployment was a good thing if he gets his way”.

Listen you are on the left and more likely to vote Democrat that is fine but how can a good liberal vote for Obama when what he is doing is hurting the little guy. I mean do you want to vote for a man who’s idea of job creation is creating less jobs then people coming into the work force.

You cannot blame the right for that for the first two years of Obama’s term he had both halves of congress and the Senate on the last two years. So the Democrats had 75% of the control the last four years.

With total opposition from a House, were "economics"and budgets are written, he’s still managed to save things from the crash “full agreement” with Bush policies would have taken us to greater disasters. If you want people selling apples on street corners, with 25% unemployment again, vote for Romney and Ryan, and keep the House in Republican control, and god forbid, a majority in the Senate.

Independents must vote for 0bama, so that they can become dependents – of the State.

    “Bush’s 8-year average unemployment rate = 5.3%”

Let’s look at the average unemployment rate per year.

    2002 – 5.8%
    2003 – 6.0%
    2004 – 5.5%
    2005 – 5.1%
    2006 – 4.6%
    2007 – 4.6%
    2008 – 5.8%
    2009 – 9.3%
    2010 – 9.6%
    2011 – 9.0%
    2012 – 8.2%

The 2008 rate doesn’t look too bad on average, however the year started at 5.3% and and ended at 7.3%. 2009 started at 7.9% and ended at 9.9%. Refresh my memory. Who was President in 2008 & 9?

Just to keep you honest, that would be Bush in 2008 and 0bama in 2009.

Because romney would be loads worse. Just look at his economic plans, or his tax plans. He won’t go into details about them, what he would cut, what tax write offs he would do away with. Bad sign.

Bush in 09 and Obama became President on January 20 or 21 of 09.

The recission in my mind is not the issue. There has been 12 recissions sense 1945 13 including this one. There will always be another recession even after this one. There has been like 47 sense 1790.

The issue is how our leadership handles the recession this one is 4 years long the longest in history, the average length of a recession is 10 months.

Sorry the blame is on Obama.

No matter how you slice and dice the numbers, Bush’s economic performance beats 0bama’s by a proverbial mile.
    .
And that does not take into consideration that:
    1. Bush inherited a recession – dot-com bust;
    2. 9/11 – about $ 1 trillion hit to the US economy;
    3. World financial liquidity crises exploded in 2007, which was pretty much stabilized by the time 0bama took office, albeit not the resultant recession, end of which was however officially called in June 2009 . . . !!!
    .
    http://www.nber.org/cycles/sept2010.html
    .
    0bama has presided over 3+ years of economic expansion . . .!!!
    .
    Where are the jobs?
    .
3.5+ years of unrelenting war on capitalism is bearing fruits: the lowest capital formation in history of the USA, the lowest new enterprises in the history of the USA . . . .!!!
    .
The choice is very simple – growth of Government vs. growth of private economy / capitalism.
