Back in 2008, didn’t Ears say something like, “If I don’t do a good job, fire me.” OFFER ACCEPTED.

On the one hand, the anti-Obama people deplore the fact that the government could/should create jobs and the tea party—no, the whole fricking GOP—has stifled all of Obama’s efforts to create jobs. Meanwhile, the Blessed and Infallible Private Sector is sitting on years of record corporate profits and piles and piles of cash, but are waiting for “certainty” before they’ll start creating jobs (in America anyway).
    .
I can grudgingly accept that a determined minority of lawmakers will stop the government from creating jobs, but don’t accept that when they do so it’s not THEIR fault.

How can there be an “average” recovery after the “great” recession? You don’t need to be an economist to understand that…

For the record, conservatives DON’T want the government to “create jobs.” They want the government to stop impeding the natural job growth which would come from an unfettered economy. The reason there’s been no real recovery is that Obama has done everything in his power to disrupt the economic forces which would (and always have) restore prosperity.

We have experienced a seminal event in the US economy. Where we are is not where we will be in 5 years, but we may never get to the employment numbers of 2006 again.

Obama is working just as hard for jobs as he did for the Nobel Peace Prize.

When you are undermined every step of the way by an anti-American House it is hard to succeed. Mitch McConnell;MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

    .
Obama had a filibuster proof majority in the Senate and control in the House under Pelosi when he came into office, got everything he wanted. What he wanted was so bad his party lost power in the House and lost seats in the Senate. Leftists suffer from selective memory.
