Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Ramirez combines an encyclopedic knowledge of the news with a captivating drawing style to create consistently outstanding editorial cartoons.
"Editorial cartoons should be smart and substantive, provocative and informative. They should stir passions and deep emotions. Editorial cartoons should be the catalyst for thought, and frankly speaking, if you can make politicians think, that is an accomplishment in itself."

Actually, the RNC plunked a dead, heavily flogged horse, in the RINO’s bed.

If the Republicans do get back into power it really be a “Far-Right Wing” party and this time “No More Mr. Nice Guy.”
The Far-Right has gotten it’s people angry and upset and they (as they’ve just shown) will turn out and vote.
2008 swept the moderate Republicans from office, the only ones left were from long time Republican strongholds, which tended to be Right-Wingers.
This summers “Tea Bag Parties” proved to the Far-Right that they had the power to take over and that’s what they are doing.

Ken, just a thought for you here. If the Republican Party wins the elections at any point, wouldn’t that mean, by definition, that THEY are the majority of the population? That would mean that YOU are the FAR-LEFT, and YOU are out of touch with the population of America!

Loco: logic is wasted on Leftists. Remember, they consider logic “an oppressive invention by dead white patriarchal males, designed to keep women and minorities from having a voice” etc etc

Were the Republicans even the majority of the VOTING population in 2000?
Also did the 2008 election leave you feeling you may be on the FAR-RIGHT?
My complaint against the Republicans – well there are two:
First: In the last 8 years, even when they had the White House and the Congress (and maybe even the Supreme Court) they screwed things up so badly. After 9/11 everyone of us – including me - was behind Bush – let’s go get those bastards that attacked us – and what does he do? He goes into Iraq, and does it badly. He got many Americans killed, purposely divided the country, and the terrorist got away free.
Second: Sorry to be so long winded. My current complaint is that the Republicans are the party not only NO, but attack, attack, attack. No discussion of issues, no plans or policies of their own, nothing but fear mongering. Let’s argue about the issues, not death panels. They sank the economy, what are their plans to fix it?

With 40% of Americans identifying themselves as conservative, while only 20% of Americans admit to being Republicans, the ‘far-right’ label for the current Republican party would seems to be a wishful thinking.
Indeed, JFK would not be allowed to represent the current NY Republican party, for he would have been considered as too conservative.

“They (Republicans) sank the economy, …”
How did they do it? Specifics please - enough of the empty poop.
Was it per chance by running huge budget deficits?
