"Editorial cartoons should be smart and substantive, provocative and informative. They should stir passions and deep emotions. Editorial cartoons should be the catalyst for thought, and frankly speaking, if you can make politicians think, that is an accomplishment in itself."

You know that it could be said that if it wasn’t for Fox News they wouldn’t be there in the first place. Bush said jump and Fox said “How High”.

So which one is 0bama’s “war of necessity”?!?

I’m reminded of when Seabees helping with Katrina relief were pulled and sent to Iraq. Sorry Rammzit, but as a combat vet, I’ll take Obama any day over Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld.

Ken said: ”Bush said jump and Fox said “How High”.”
Just a minor correction…
”Fox then told its viewers how high”

Osama is more concerned about Fox News than our troops in Afghanistan, I’d wager that…

I hope that 0bama’s war on Fox continues, for this may either bankrupt, or force the other networks to do their job, which is not being press secretaries of the big 0.
In the meantime, Fox is laughing all the way to the bank, as more and more people flack to partake of their ‘indoctrination’.

Scott - Sad to say, especially if you read the interviews Bush has given since he left office, and what those who were in his administration have had to say, right now Obama is giving more thought and is more concerned about our troops in Afganistan then Bush ever did. Iraq was his first love, Afganistan wasn’t even an afterthought.

Hey howiee, not quiet 30 but I’ll let you keep my shares of both Bushes anytime, granted Clinton wasn’t a big friend of the military but at least he didn’t sell us out to his cronies for a little profit. PLEASE don’t tell me you admire W.

Yes, Ramirez… a couple of critical sentences directed at you in a press conference is just like being in a war.
God, what a stupid conflation.

Which one did he start? Oh, neither! To call it a war when the White House chooses to ignore Fox is to trivialize war.

a war of words.
Saul Alinsky Rule 13:
Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

Wow! I had no idea that Rove and Cheney were disciples of Saul Alinsky… learn something new every day.

Injecting something intelligent into the same page as a Ramirez cartoon seems inappropriate, but here goes.
How many Taliban fighter are in Afghanistan? 25,000
How many troops are fighting the Taliban? 200,000 Afghanistan security forces; 100,000 NATO forces, including 64,000 US soldiers.
How many troops would be required to secure Afghanistan? Reat this article:
