Ramirez fails to note the millions who have died at the bequest of the United States. Russia has a handy sum of victims, too. Follow the money. The US is trading product and fortunes with China, and thus, our tribute atop our grandest building is a salute to a splendid business partnership. Actually, there are no countries at all, no borders… there is only money.

Yet the world remains obscenely overpopulated and becomes more so by the second.Humans fear and loathe themselves and each other and are terrified of sex but still reproduce like a fecund virus under perfect conditions.

rickoshay: Yeah, he didn’t mention people killed by the US. He also didn’t mention those killed by the British Empire, or all those people who died in the Napoleonic wars, the millions massacred by the Mongols, and hell, let’s not even start on the Assyrians.

Come on, man, think for a minute.

The Cultural Revolution is my favorite counter-argument to the ones who think religious fantism is the root of all evil.

The cultural revolution was clearly a genocide, but no religion was involved. In fact, communism has no god. But as soon as you take religion out of the equation, something else takes its place; Mao was treated like a god, or at least a monarch of divine right. Mobs killed whoever seemed to disagree with him. It was clearly integrism, but not religious integrism, ideological one.

Humans have a natural instinct to kill each other ofver small differences once some fear is involved. Wether those differences are religious, racial or ideological doesn’T matter much.

“He sees only America, only perfect, only right.”

As opposed you seeing America as only the bad and worst . .

You clearly believe that the World would be a better place without the USA..

Just LOVE the liberal hypocrisy exhibited here. If this were a celebration of the KKK and its 100 year anniversary, you libs would be having a screaming fit about it instead of making the sorry excuses for it that you are making now.

    Can anyone say HYPOCRISY!!??!!

No Pete, not at all. America is simply on an even field with China, Russia, Iran, Britain, Israel, Germany, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Sudan, Libya, Colombia, Zaire, Myanmar, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Zimbabwe…. and on and on. America kills whenever it suits its desires, as do all of these countries… and many others. And some day America won’t be here! But another murderous regime will take its place. What causes never ending death and mayhem is the belief that your country is ALWAYS right.

I beg your pardon. I stand corrected.

I think the reason the Empire State bldg celebrated China’s anniversary is probably because the Chinese now own it.
