"Editorial cartoons should be smart and substantive, provocative and informative. They should stir passions and deep emotions. Editorial cartoons should be the catalyst for thought, and frankly speaking, if you can make politicians think, that is an accomplishment in itself."

Would you believe 2 Redcoats in a rowboat? ,,, With a salute and props to Don Adams of “Get Smart” TV fame back in the day.
toasteroven said, 3 months ago
Ok, wait, I said something nice here. That can’t do.
The Tea Party things? Stupid. Oh, how I wish that the founding fathers (including old Tom Paine) would come back to life and beat some ever-loving sense into these idiots calling themselves cartoonists.

Great drawing, Mike! The one thing that kept me away from building sailing ships was the “friggin rigging.”

Does anybody here actually think all the “protests” held on every conceivable issue were spontaneous? Protests are always organized. The signs just magically appear?

Good point, Humph. Hadn’t thought of it that way…

GNC, Paid for and sponsored by big business. They usually call that a promotion.
We the people ? We the Health care companies !
This is a protest of the Insurance companies. Hell no, we wont change, Hell no, we wont change, Hell no, we wont change !
We the insurance companies, will break up the people from making a stand, and running us (the health care Insurance co.) out of town.

DNC–bought and paid for by unions. Unions sent goons to town meetings for last five years.

The ironic thing about the whole situation is:
The conservatives are looking at the overall picture and what is best for the country overall.
The liberals are looking at what is best for themselves. Never mind the dark side of the democrat party. Thanks to the media, Hollywood and the public schools a lot of the dark side is now accepted as normal.

That’s RIGHT, thousands and thousands, of unions members, filling the streets. From little kid union members to college and old, and gay, and housewife’s, moms and dads, and motorcycle dudes, and the all time favorite HIPPIE union members!
You got to be dumb if you cant tell the difference. You had better check your pocket for wooden nickles.

At Obama’s speech this year at my alma mater, the speech was interrupted by “students” who all happened to be middle age and from Indiana (for those who don’t know-relatively FEW locals actually attend the University despite its location). Contrived and trite, it gave our President another great opportunity to handle the situation well. What a difference a year makes!

(1) Striper has his white hood and gown on again
(2) The Boston tea party people disguised themselves as Native Americans -not sporting\
(3) The taxes the British wanted were to pay for the colonists defense. Now the U.S. taxpayer subsidises the defense of Europe, Israel, Korea, Japan Taiwan etc, not to mention the billions poured into Vietnam. Be careful what you protest about

Yes conservatives at American colleges had a real easy time with no heckling or protesting. Of course they were usually banned prior to appearance.
